Our story and inspiration
Having worked with older adults, including those living with dementia, I experienced first-hand how much difference genuine human warmth makes. Seeing my own relative living in a care home with few visitors highlighted the deep loneliness many seniors face. East Bergholt Companions was created to offer meaningful friendship, kindness, and dedicated attention so that nobody in our community feels forgotten.
Personal, consistent companionship
I visit every client personally, offering families complete reassurance about who is spending time with their relative. With extensive experience in dementia support and elderly wellness, I take the time to listen, learn personal hobbies, and build trusted relationships. From gentle walks to a shared cup of tea and a friendly chat, every visit is centred on dignity, patience, and joy.
Safety, trust, and peace of mind
Your family's safety and confidence are my priority. I hold enhanced DBS checks and comprehensive public liability insurance, ensuring full professional peace of mind. With the client's permission, I provide regular updates after visits, keeping families informed and involved so they know their loved one is safe, respected, and well cared for.
